Coopy Race

Welcome to the marathon of your life! It is a race on a procedurally generated level. But don't bully your friends yet! You'll need them to get to the finish line.  Now go! Run! Try not to die!

The Characters:

Bunny. The bit-fluffy character with a carrot sword and a carrot shield. Delicious? Maybe... But don't eat it. You'll need that to clear the path.

Jellyfish. Because the world is better with jelly-things, am I wrong?

Cowghost. It doesn't matter who's underneath the blanket. The only important info here is that they know how to shoot.

The Controls:

Bunny...

  • A & D to move around
  • W to jump around
  • F to attack enemies with a carrot-sword

Cowghost...

  • J & L to move around
  • I to jump around
  • P to shoot with

Jellyfish...

  • LEFT & RIGHT to Move
  • UP  to Jump
  • They can

I really like the procedural map. Every time you play the game again, you have to think and can't just blindly rely on your memory of what you did last time. I ran into a bug that happened when one of the characters died and the camera kept zooming out forever until the map became tiny. I'm not sure what I did that made it happened, but here's a screenshot. Maybe if you guys have time, you could look into this?

Right away, the soundtrack and polished visuals stood out to me. Then, thanks to the bees, I am greeted with an easy to understand and fun minigame! I wish I could control all 3 so I could complete it myself but I'm sure it's great!! 🌟

The procedurally generated map is sooooo cooool! Really love it. Also the art style is adorable~ Some problems I found when I played it are: Camera keeps zooming out when character dies. Jellyfish gets stuck on the starfish and can't move.

It is so cool to have a procedurally generated map and gameplay. Makes the gameplay experience very novel every time I play the game. Also loved how the 3 unique characters match in their visual aesthetic which is a very 2D candy-land style. Also liked how the characters could jump off of each other. Though found the moving fire a bit hard to dodge and avoid. Loved the game.

The procedurally generated map is such a fun element of this game. It makes every single "replay" different, even though it shares the same basic elements. That keeps things interesting and makes me want to continue over again.

I would love to see if there's a deeper narrative to this, as to why the characters are advancing. Even a small story to connect everything together would really enhance the game!

I really enjoyed the different character designs and the procedurally generated maps. Every game has a slightly different level design so it is not just a play once and go but play more than once! Playful bgms and enjoyed the simple environment design. I thought bees following the players was humorous! Keep going with your game and if you have some time, add a simple narrative to each individual character to complete the world building.

I faced a few problems while playing the game. When the ghost dies, it falls down going outside of the game scene and the camera’s focus follows the ghosts therefore the game scene stretches infinitely. This bug makes the game unable to play even though 2 characters are still alive. Another problem is that when the bunny dies, she drops the blade, same as the ghost, the camera targets the focus on the blade. Unlike ghosts, it is still playable but the screen was stretching too wide. - You jin

The design of this game is sooooo cute. The design style is really united and inherited all the way from start to the end. I think the UI can polish the alignment a bit more to make it more comfortable. Meanwhile, it will be great to have instruction for gameplay at beginning screen for better understanding.

I love the fact that every character is so different from each other. The art style and color scheme worked cohesively as well.

The character design is really adorable. I like the design of the bee colony chasing the players. I also love the design that you give the three characters different abilities so they can work together!

I'm bad at playing games so I didn't reach the end, but I love this game! I think the changing the fire to bees was great. It would be nice if the bunny had more abilities, but overall I love it:)

The gameplay is so fun! But its almost impossible to finish with one person hahaha~ I love how you guys used the wall of bees to "force" players to race through the game- it definitely levels up the difficulty and make the experience more exciting. One possible improvement in the future is that maybe you guys can have more descriptions/instructions either in the game or in the description page. Great job!

It’s a cute game. There are some tricks in playing the game where players need to think for a while to find the solution. I like these unique designs. I can see your team put your heart into making these tricks. Maybe you can add some decorations for the background images to make your visuals more delicate.

I love how different characters collaborate to reach the goal, and every time I played it, the environment was different and full of surprise. I'm also hoping that the enemy can look more like an enemy, since I first played it, I thought that was a star I can collect.
